Junmin Liu is Assistant Professor of Anthropology in the Division of Humanities. She received her BA, MA, and PhD from Peking University, Columbia University, and the Australian National University respectively. Before joining HKUST, she served as Assistant Professor at the City University of Macau. Her research sits at the intersection of cultural heritage studies, folklore, and urban anthropology, with a geographic focus on the Greater Bay Area.
