Gaza Sunbirds (2025) documents a professional para-cycling team in the Gaza Strip, who pave the way for amputees in Gaza and around the world to rise above through determination and excellence in sport.

A Box From The Sky (2025) is written and animated by 20 children between the ages of 10–14 yrs old, displaced from Gaza City to Deir al-Balah. This short is an account of the delivery of aid boxes that were dropped into Gaza since October 2023.

Samidoun: The Steadfast Women of Palestine (2025) documents the unwavering resilience, strength, and agency of Palestinian women living under the dual forces of military occupation and entrenched patriarchy. Through intimate, firsthand accounts, the film amplifies the voices of women who continue to lead, resist, and rebuild in the face of extraordinary adversity.

This session is a moderated discussion to reflect on the three short films listed above. Registrants are welcome to read out any piece of literature or poetry relevant to the theme of the event in the discussion session.
