Gideon Aran's presentation (in English) will focus on the case of the Palestinian Suicide Terrorism in Israel. It is based on extensive anthropological field-study conducted during the Intifada (2000-2005). An attempt will be made to offer an alternative definition of suicide terrorism, and to clarify its distinct and unprecedented characteristics.
