演講摘要：


香港地方雖小，缺乏天然資源，但商業網絡功能巨大，是亞太地區人、財、物、資訊流通的樞紐。香港號稱國際金融中心，追源溯始，與英國於亞太發展金融資本主義不無關係，香港可以說是英國發展對華貿易最重要的踏腳石。香港華商充分利用了方面的有利條件，在政治上依附中英兩大政權，在經濟上積蓄資本，締造跨國商業網絡。本演講目的，在於從政治、經濟、文化不同角度檢視香港華商自1841至1997年百多年來的歷史發展。



講者簡介：
