摘要


這次講座將集中討論日本動畫制作人持永只仁(1919-1999)。持永只仁活躍於戰時的東京,1945到1953年間,他移居中國,繼續製作動畫。這次講座挖掘出與持永只仁相關的鮮為人知的歷史,並追蹤了他職業生涯中跨越中日邊境的文化流動。


Bio:


Daisy Yan Du is Assistant Professor of Chinese Literature and Visual Culture in the Division of Humanities at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her most recent publication is an article on animals and animation during the Chinese Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) in Positions: Asia Critique 24.2 (2016). She has also published articles on film, gender, and popular culture in Gender & History, Modern Chinese Literature and Culture, and Women’s Studies Quarterly. She is currently working on a book manuscript about Chinese animation between the 1940s and 1970s.
