Call for participants – Recruiting local Cantonese participants for a Mandarin perception experiment
Are you a Cantonese local student? Are you interested in languages and how they work? Then this experiment is for you! Tonal languages are hard to acquire, even for speakers whose native language has tones. This experiment aims to test Cantonese speakers' perception and learning of Mandarin tones through a series of tests and exposure to language stimuli. Participants will also wear a smart watch to monitor the quality of their sleep as part of the experiment (please refer to the poster for details). All participants will get HKD300 for their participation. For enquiries, please contact Jeremy ytchuiac@connect.ust.hk. Thank you.
